Who is your ideal client?

My ideal client is someone who is willing to work with what they’ve got and try things that are best suited for their hair type and personal style. I love creative types and kind-hearted people!

How long have you been working in your field?

I graduated from Eveline Charles academy in 2011 and have been doing hair in and out of salons, on and off since then. I left the industry for a few years and did hair on the side while I ventured out into other fields.  Over that time frame, I found a new love for being a stylist and have a new-found appreciation for it since.

What are you passionate about professionally? Personally?

I am passionate about all things creative!  My deepest passions are through my art and through music. I have always been a big music enthusiast and enjoy all genres and always take an opportunity to see live shows to find new artists.  I worked at one of our live music venues in town called The Slice Bar and Grill for a little while and I loved always being surrounded by music and people who love it as much as I do (plus great pizza!).

I have always been into drawing, painting, sculpting, and just creating! I have recently began developing my own little business through my abstract acrylic paintings and I love it.  It’s very important to me to be able to express creativity and to meet and surround myself with people who are similar or appreciate it.

What is your biggest accomplishment?

I would say my biggest accomplishment would be breaking through my own barriers and finding new perspective that allows me to push myself past my comfort zone. Doing what I love without being influenced by what other people think is important to me. I want to continue to grow everyday and continuously be learning new things. I’m  proud of how far I have come in the beauty industry, considering the time I took away from it.
