What are you most complimented on in your work? 

My connection with my clients… (but it’s pretty easy to connect with amazing people!)

Who is your ideal client? 

My ideal client is literally each and every one of mine. All my peeps have become family to me and I genuinely love and adore every single one of them. (Especially the ones that bring me yummy baking and Starbucks ;) )

How long have you been in the industry? 

When I was 12 years old, my first job was in a salon answering phones, sweeping hair, and assisting stylists. I went to Calgary for hair school after graduation and have been working in a salon since. Do I admit I have been graduated since 2002?!?

What are you passionate about professionally and personally?

Professionally, I am #blessed to spend time with clients and co-workers that inspire and challenge me. I love that I get to work in a place that not only encourages us furthering our education, but expects it! A lot of stylists burn out after doing it as long as I have, but I work in a salon that keeps me growing and learning, which keeps me excited and inspired.

Personally, my passion is definitely my family. I have a pretty cool husband that I not only like looking at, but also actually like hanging out with, and my three daughters that are pretty fun to hang out with too. So if I’m not working, my time and energy is fully on them.

If you could be anywhere other than here where would you be?

 Montana. My heart belongs down there. It feels most like home in those mountains and trees and it calls to my soul. When I cross the border and the air begins to smell like pines, I feel a weight I didn’t even realize existed lift, and I can fully breathe again. 

Who is someone you admire and why?

I actually have quite a few people in my life I admire and I find that as I grow older that list grows. I am drawn to genuine, kind and humble people. I am inspired by those who live their truth. I am in awe of those who refuse to limit themselves. I could name so many names but the truth is- you could figure them out if you know me. I intentionally surround myself with the kind of people who motivate me to be better. I am constantly learning how to improve in all aspects of my life and if you are in it- it’s because I’ve chosen to keep you there.
