What are you most complimented on in your work?

I have been told many times that my personality can be described as “bubbly”! I love hearing this feedback, because I enjoy brining a positive, upbeat energy to a work environment. I think that kindness and positivity can go along way to brighten someone’s day, and that is one of the reasons why I love working with people. 

How long have you been working in your field?

I have been a Registered Nurse for 6 years. I work primary with children at the Chinook Regional Hospital, but started my nurse injector journey in early 2021. I completed my injector training with the Canadian Association of Medical Aesthetics and worked as an injector for the remainder of the year. I am so excited to start this new adventure with the Prim team!

What are you most passionate about both professionally and personally?

I have a strong passion for communication with people, and also for helping them. The beauty industry allows for a certain kind of professional relationship where the provider has this amazing opportunity to boost their clients confidence. I absolutely love watching the smile on someone’s face leaving an appointment, with that extra “pep” in their step! Being able to be a part of that experience is something I will forever be grateful for.

Personally, I am extremely passionate about the outdoors! I have many hobbies that include fishing, hunting, camping, hiking, etc. I find myself most at home and at peace outside, I was raised this way and share a lot of fun, outdoor experiences with my two older brothers. They have taught me so much about connecting with the areas we live in, including the land and the wildlife around us! 

What are your goals? 

My goal this year is to practice more self-care. Working through a pandemic has been so challenging for so many individuals. I find that I can end up putting self-care on the back burner. Although I have many professional goals that I hope to accomplish, I hope to keep self-care in the foreground of these. Together, I think that the possibilities are endless!

If you could be anywhere other than here, where would you go?

If I could be anywhere in the world I would choose a wall tent with a wood burning stove in the mountains! Haha!
